EMPOWERING MINDS IN STEAM EDUCATION
OUR CHALLENGES

Rural communities in Ghana and Kenya face significant barriers to education, with high poverty rates (over 40% in some regions) limiting access to essentials like textbooks, technology, and trained teachers. Schools in remote areas often lack basic infrastructure—including electricity—making it difficult for students to engage with modern learning methods. Similarly, refugee, immigrant, and economically challenged families in Utah struggle with limited access to STEAM education, language barriers, and financial hardship, which hinder educational success and workforce readiness. Across all regions we serve, students and families encounter:

โœ” Limited Access to Resources and Infrastructure
โœ” Teacher Shortages and Training Deficiencies
โœ” Cultural, Language, and Socioeconomic Barriers
โœ” Limited Access to Technology and Digital Tools
โœ” Insufficient Funding and Policy Support for Education

OUR IMPACT

โœ” Empowered over 8,000 children in Ghana and Kenya through STEAM education programs.
โœ” Refurbished more than 25 classrooms and established the first STEAM Innovation Lab.
โœ” Provided over 400 hygiene kits, resulting in a 20% attendance increase among girls.
โœ” Trained over 100 teachers in ICT skills and modern educational practices.
โœ” Increased overall school attendance by 25% through improved facilities and access to resources.
โœ” Mobilized over 3,000 volunteer hours to support education, mentorship, and community development.
