What we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who envisions themselves growing within our organization. The purpose of advocacy and civic engagement can be to enhance organizational policies and procedures, to build community awareness and collective action, and to improve the legislative and political framework in our society. Students learn strategies and tactics for dismantling oppressive systems and enhancing organizational capacity to support personal and community well-being.
What will an ordinary day look like?

You will be part of a team that will plan, organize and curate events for civic engagement duties in the community for the organisation

You will help create a framework for understanding the civic footprint of our organization within local communities.

You will be performing some data entry and making detailed notes within our internal administrative program.

You will use lines of communication and other internal support systems to work closely within a team setting to collaboratively complete the customer interaction, whether marking down volunteer participation points or booking accommodations.
