Girls empowerment
Empowerment is a process of ongoing change through which women and girls expand their aspirations, strengthen their voice, and exercise more choice. A woman or girl can experience empowerment in varying degrees and across different areas of her life—in her home, her family, her workplace, and her community.
A CONCEPTUAL MODEL OF GIRLS EMPOWERMENT
It is our belief that when women and girls are empowered to live their lives to full potential, everyone benefits exponentially. Inpspired by the melinda gate foundation, we hope to empower young girls in rural villages to feel confident in themselves and in their ability to perform on an equal plain field as the boys in their classrooms as well as in their communities.
