We are committed to empowering young girls through menstrual health education and sustainable solutions. We invite you to join our initiative to  create reusable sanitary pads for girls in rural Ghana, ensuring they can attend school with confidence and dignity.

About the Project

Many girls in rural communities miss school due to a lack of access to menstrual hygiene products.

This project aims to provide a sustainable solution by teaching community members how to sew reusable sanitary pads. These pads will help girls manage their periods safely, reduce school absenteeism, and promote menstrual health awareness.

Project Activities

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:

• Make reusable sanitary pads using locally available materials.

• Teach sewing skills to community members and volunteers.

• Educate girls on menstrual hygiene and proper pad care.

• Distribute completed pads to students in need.

• Support the creation of a sustainable program where local women can continue producing pads beyond the project.
