Where will I live and work?

In the Volta Region of Ghana, with our partner schools in Mepe and Dadome. Mepe is the hometown of Mama Josephine, who inspired our work.

How much does it cost?

We're setting the 2027 price now. Join the interest list and we'll email you the price and dates first.

Can I come with a friend?

Yes. Add your friend's name in the form, and we'll keep you together.

How do you keep volunteers and children safe?

Everyone completes our online orientation and signs our Code of Conduct before they serve. Volunteers who work with children may be asked to complete a background check. Read how we volunteer ethically in Ghana.

What's the difference between the gap year, an internship and a trip?

The trip is 10 days with a group. The gap year is 4 or 8 weeks and mixes several projects. The internship is a 1-week Field Experience or a 3-month role in one area, and the 3-month internship is eligible for academic credit.
