Payment, refunds and changes

- No refunds. Soon after you pay, we send the funds to our teams in Ghana and Kenya to book local vendors. Once sent, they are nearly impossible to get back. Refund policy
- No change fees. Transfer your seat to another traveler, or move to a future trip if space allows.
Please be sure about your trip before you pay.
Before you go
- Passport: valid for at least 6 months after you return.
- Visa: fees are included. You apply, and we guide you.
- Health: see your doctor. Ghana requires a yellow fever vaccination.
- Insurance: we strongly recommend travel and medical insurance.
On the trip
- Follow local laws and respect local culture.
- Follow our child safety guidelines and your trip leaders.
- Keep alcohol moderate, and never accept pay for volunteer work.
- Photos and video of you on the trip may be used to share our work.
- Plans can change for weather or safety. We'll find good alternatives.
- Breaking these rules can end your trip early, at your own cost.
Risk and release
Travel abroad carries risks, including illness, injury and loss of property. By registering, you take part voluntarily, accept these risks, and release Dreamers Wish Foundation, its board, staff, volunteers and partners from liability, as far as the law allows. Local lodging, transport and activities are run by independent providers. Travelers under 18 must travel with a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for them.
These terms follow Utah law. See also our privacy policy and disclaimer.
