A new lab with no internet
Our Dadome lab has computers but no reliable internet. Many students had never used a computer before.
Where we serve · Ghana
Our story began in Mepe and Dadome, on the Volta River, where Godwill and his mother, Josephine, founded Dreamers Wish.

The problem · Ghana
Children in Mepe and Dadome are eager to learn, but their schools lack internet, safe classrooms and basic health care.
Our Dadome lab has computers but no reliable internet. Many students had never used a computer before.
In October 2023, dam spillage put about 85% of Mepe under water, and 14,704 pupils in North Tongu could not attend school. Many classrooms already lacked desks, doors and windows.
Dental and health check-ups are hard to reach. A toothache can keep a child out of class.

Launching next in Ghana
Next: satellite internet for the Dadome lab, and our Dental Hygiene Workshop.

Satellite internet for the Dadome STEAM/ICT Lab, a hub for 7 partner schools. Students can research, code and meet mentors online.

After our first workshop in Kenya in July 2026, healthy smiles come to the Volta.

Our work in Ghana
At Dadome DA Basic School and across the district, we follow the community's lead.
Sponsor GhanaGodwill started Dreamers Wish with his mother, Josephine, and the support of some amazing friends from Utah, to serve the children of her village — more than 600 young dreamers.

We commissioned the first playground at Dadome, a gift from the Tandoh family and friends, where play and learning meet.
400+ sanitary boxes delivered to girls, and retention rose 25%.
Our largest volunteer group supported 400+ students. 10 of 15 classrooms are now refurbished, with a STEAME Innovation Lab and library.
Our $55,000 plan brings robotics and computers ($15,000), water reservoirs ($7,000), compost toilets ($8,000), classroom upgrades ($8,000), permaculture ($7,000), girls' empowerment ($4,000) and operations ($6,000).

March 2026 · Dadome DA Basic School
Dadome DA Basic School now has its own STEAM/ICT Lab, made possible by a generous gift from donor JoAnn Jackson.
