Starlink for Classrooms

$2,420 goal · Be one of the first to give

Where the money goes

  • Starlink setup + equipment for 2 labs ($550 each)$1,100
  • Starlink service for 2 labs, first year ($55/mo each)$1,320

The need

Why it matters.

Many of our partner schools have no reliable internet, and some have no electricity at all. In rural Ghana, more than 600 children at our partner schools had never used a computer. Without power and a connection, even a full computer lab sits dark between our visits.

“In Utah, refugee student Kambi discovered a passion for engineering after building his first robot — and now dreams of designing aircraft.”From our 2026 Impact Brief

Our approach

What we do.

Starlink for Classrooms

Our 2026/27 flagship: satellite internet for the computer labs at Dadome DA Basic School in Ghana and Mijomboni Primary in Kenya. See the plan

Computer labs with VEX Robotics

STEAME Innovation Labs equipped with computers, VEX Robotics kits and licensed VEX software, serving 700–2,000 students a year.

Solar for Schools

Solar panel installations for schools without electricity, so labs can run every day. Learn more

RACHEL offline servers

Khan Academy, Wikipedia and textbooks available offline, with no internet needed.

Robotics & AI

VEX Robotics kits, coding and AI lessons that turn math and physics into hands-on challenges.

Lab champions

Two trained school champions per school maintain equipment so it lasts.

Sky Is the Limit drone program Coming soon

A 5-week program for refugee teens (ages 12–17) in Utah: aeronautics, flight simulation, aerial photography, drone assembly and safety, ending with a graduation flight and certificate.

Solar for Schools

Some of our partner schools have no electricity at all. Solar panels on the roof can power lights, computers and a STEM lab, and can even let a school earn income by charging phones for the community.

  • Rooftop solar assessments at partner schools
  • Panels, batteries and installation for schools without power
  • Power for computer labs, lights and Starlink
